Error creating a child profile on family sharing on Apple music on Android

As the title says, I am trying to create a child profile in family sharing on the Apple music app on Android and from managing family page, I go through all steps to the point when it asks about requiring approval for purchases and then I get a pop up saying "invalid security code"

There was no entry location for a code, I did not receive a code, and no request for a code.

Clicking ok (only option) kicks me back to managing the family and trying to add a child starts me all over.

I have no apple products and have no access to any apple devices.

I have tried on multiple Android devices with the same results.

I have no option for tagging my device so I indicated Roku as it is where I installed AppleTV a few years ago.
