Cannot Sync iTunes on Windows PC with IPOD Touch

Attempting to sync iTunes library from Windows 11 PC to IPOD Touch v. 12.5.7.

Touch does not recognize songs in iTunes library. iTunes on PC is version 12.13.6.1

iPod, iOS 12
