Why does microsoft sharepoint keep asking for keychain access

Each time I start up my Mac and log in, a window pops up (about 100 times) saying "Microsoft SharePoint wants to use your confidential information stored in "OneDrive..." (see attached). None of the buttons helps (nor does entering my login password and then clicking "allow" or "always allow") - the window keeps popping right back up. Only clicking "deny" a hundred times finally gets rid of it. I don't even WANT to use Microsoft SharePoint - but I also cannot eliminate it from the login items - everytime I click the "-" sign to get rid of it and then restart, it is right back there (with the "hide" button checked). Anybody have an idea how to make this go away?

(This happens without starting ANY Microsoft 365 app - just logging into my MacBook Pro running Sequoia 15.3.1) PLEASE DO NOT TELL ME TO JUST HIT ALWAYS ALLOW. I KNOW that but it won't stop.

Have you tried deleting Sharepoint from your computer (or removing it from inside O365 if you have it that way)? Modern login items can't recreate themselves if the app they are embedded in doesn't exist anymore...

Don't have O365 and have old version of Word, Powerpoint and Excel. Teams is the only Microsoft product that might be "new", but I haven't used it from this computer from over 3 years.

I'm concern it is MalWare. I've run a disk scan with my anti-virus with nothing detected.

Are you using One Drive? I know I have "Sharepoint" as a Login Item which I tried to remove, but it keeps coming back on its own. I do have the full MS Office suite installed, but don't utilize One Drive. In fact I only access Sharepoint (and I suppose One Drive since there are online documents for my organization) through the browser...no idea why Sharepoint insists on a Login Item.

Perhaps try deleting the MS entries in your KeyChain/Passwords app (especially for Sharepoint & One Drive, but maybe for all MS related items). Perhaps something in the KeyChain/Passwords is corrupt.

I'm not sure what this has to do with the OP's question about SharePoint. You would be better off starting a new question for your own issue wit appropriate details as to what your issue is.
