Why can't I tap on the password field in FaceTime after reinstalling it?

So I deleted FaceTime, thinking that I could still call people after removing it. But I couldn’t. So I re downloaded it, and then it said my I cloud account, then under that, there was a space that said password. But it wouldn’t let me tap on it, and repeatedly tapping it didn’t work either. I don’t know what to do, please help.🥲
