5th generation ipod touch won connect to itunes

When I plug in my ipod it asks me to trust this computer i click trust & it does not do anything. It does show apple ipod in my windows explorer though but does not have a drive letter which would usually be the f drive. I have windows 10 64 bit. I just looked in settings & it says driver error. Any clue what that woud be?

I'm running Win10 and I upgraded iTunes to the newest version (12.12.6.1) thinking this was the issue. PC does not recognize iPod The PC, with iTunes open, does not recognize my iPod Nano when I plug it in. I've tried re-starting the computer, and re-starting the iPod.

iPod classic 4 (Monochrome) not connecting over USB My iPod classic 4 can sync perfectly fine using firewire. However, when connected to my computer with usb, the iPod says "OK to disconnect" and my computer won't recognise it.
