Unable to add Apple Card back to my wallet

I see an Apple Card offer and decide to apply. The process goes fluently and I accepted the offer with 3,500 credit line, the card appeared in my wallet right away. I setup back account and enrolled auto pay right away. Option to order physical card showed and I did checked address to send.


However I have problem getting the card number with error message like Apple Pay Service Unavailable. I read some posts here and it suggests to remove/re-add the card to solve this problem, and I followed.


Now I’m having trouble adding my Apple Card back to my wallet. It did appear in my “Previous Card” but when I try to add it back, an error message “Account Service Unavailable” appeared after location service being used by wallet (the arrow icon indicates that.)


I’ve tried calling Apple and GS, and shared screen with an Apple specialist to play with my region/time zone settings but nothing was improved. She mentioned this needs a ticket open by a supervisor, but there was no one available so I was put on the waiting line. The call was interrupted because of poor signal and I’m tired after working a few hours on this problem.


I think I’ll call again tomorrow and in the mean time I wish to get some advice from this community.


Did anyone experience similar case before and what was the solution?

Do you use a VPN? VPN usage is a known issue.


But the real issue is probably the fact you’re out of the US. Most issuing banks prevent a card from being added to an electronic wallet if outside the issuing region. It’s an anti fraud measure the issuing banks use.


Not with Apple Card, but other issuers, I see this reported a lot in European countries. I doubt Apple can do much resolve. It will really be a Goldman Sachs fraud department issue. Have you been talking to GS support at all?
