HomeKit stopped working after changing Apple ID!

I changed my Apple ID and my HomeKit stopped working. It created a new Home with my new Apple ID! How can I at least transfer my old Scenes and Accessories to the new Home?? Or how do I change the existing Home's Apple ID??? This is so frustrating and counter- intuitive!!

You can’t transfer devices over to the new Home. It would be best if you can use the old home to get signed in with the new Apple ID. You need to update your new ID across all Apple devices. You especially need the device you’re using the home app for to be signed into this new ID.

See: Change your Apple Account primary email address - Apple Support and Change your Apple Account primary email address on your iPhone or iPad as instructed.

Whatever device you’re using as a Home Hub (Apple TV box or HomePod) needs also to be signed into your new ID.

Then delete the home you have no use for once you are sure you’ve successfully updated the Apple ID You might want to rename the useless home now so you don’t delete the wrong one.

Hi I followed everything and when I open Home App it still shows the old home with the old home logged into my old Apple ID. It is really frustrating after after spending so much time setting up and arranging my cards only to be thrown into the drain just because my Apple ID changed! Being able to transfer 1 home to another home or to back up my setup is the most basic need of any user. This is so backwards compared to Alexa. I’m really regretting my decision to board HomeKit!!!
