Why can't I pay the full amount due on my Apple Card?

You can only pay up to the outstanding balance of “cleared” transactions.

You can’t “pay ahead” as you can with most other credit cards.

“Pending” charges cannot be paid until they clear. Some credit cards do not let you pay more than the current balance because that would result in a credit balance until the pending charge clears.
