Keynote Remote feature not working.

Hello,

I'm running a MacBook Pro M3 Nov 2023, on Sequoia 15.3.1 and an iPhone 14 Pro version 17.7.1

I'm trying to use the iPhone as a remote control for Keynote for the first time.

I have both running on the same Wifi network (and have restarted both machines prior to writing this question).

On the MacBook - I have enabled Keynote>Settings>Remote> Enable

in iPhone>Privacy & Security>Local network> Keynote is enabled (green slider)

On the iPhone Keynote> top right telephone with play symbol> Continue. Blue pulsing dot appears

But, on the MacBook my iPhone doesn't appear on the list (nothing does).

I am on my (own) companies Wifi on both machines and am trying to find out if my telecoms supplier is blocking the Wifi somehow / someway. Why didn't Apple use Bluetooth on this feature??

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

MacBook Pro 14″, macOS 15.3
