How can I communicate with a Brazilian business partner who doesn't speak English?

I am attempting to do business with a Brazilian and need advice on the easiest and best way to communicate. I don’t speak Portuguese and the other party does not speak English. Is there anything I can use to translate during video calls? Text messaging?

I would suggest that you use email and something like Google Translate. Trying to do real time translation on video conferencing sounds like a recipe for frustration.

It does appear that you can have a call translated in real time if you have a paid Zoom account.

Thank you. I’ll start researching.

I've done in person realtime translating with a translation app on a phone. That works reasonably well if you enunciate. But it's awkward and stilted. Speak-Read-Respond-Read. It was for something fairly short and simple, not a business discussion.
