delete grAY SPACE
If you delete a gray space between two clips it deletes the clip below. that it is connected to -there is no lift from story for gray clips- they mess up timing and I need them gone. And where is delete next to?

You can change the connection point of clips.

You can also use the Position tool (press 'p') to move clips. Press 'a' to get back to Select tool.
Post a pic of your timeline where you want to delete the gap clip.
