Final Cut Pro performance issue on 2020 iMac with upgraded RAM and SSD

Get the AmorphousDiskMark disk benchmark program from the MacOS App Store. Run it using 4 threads x 4 GB file size on each external drive. Take a screenshot of the numbers. Do the same with Blackmagic Disk Test using a 5GB test file size. For a mid-range single USB-C SSD, the performance should be very roughly in the ballpark of these numbers. This may not be the problem, but it's a simple thing to check.

Please also run EtreCheckPro and post the results here using the "Add Additional Text" button.

Exactly what did the third-party service center do? What do you mean by "reset the device?"

Do please post that Etrecheck report.

Slowness can be caused by different things - a slow or too full drive is often the problem, but also it may be due to third party software causing problems. The report may well illuminate the question.
