How do I reset my EFI password and restore macOS on iMac with Bootcamp issues?

The bootcamp is not working perfectly because it can't find the macOS startup disc and the apple software update says all software is up to date. Manually I tried change back with EFI but I forgot the password. This situation is very complicated.
