My iPad isn't supervised any longer so I do I use it normally?

managed for 2 year through Easter Seals and now it's been over 4 years and it's still acting managed and won't start up correctly

Has the device been removed from the MDM by the organization?
Do you still have the MDM profile on the device? Settings > general > VPN & Device Management
