Stuck on 'Your Mac is restoring the software' during iPod Nano 6th Gen restoration

I discovered my iPod Nao 6th Gen in a draw and thought it wise to restore the software if I was going to use it again. However it has been stuck on

for hours.

Any ideas as to how to move it along to restored?

iPod restore is stuck I used the used my new iMac (Apple M1 running Ventura) to attempt a restore on an unresponsive Apple iPod shuffle. The procedure began and indicated that the restore was in progress, a small circular progress symbol near the iPod in the right of the screen progressed from white to filled-in with dark like a clock. Then nothing. So far the screen has not changed for 30 minutes. It is unclear if the process is still working. How should I proceed?

iPod classic stuck in restore mode on Mac I recently got an iPod classic 6th gen (late 2009), plugged it in to my Macbook and everything was normal, able to sync music using Finder. But after I restored it, everything was wiped, which is what I wanted, it’s recognised by Finder but couldnt do any syncing, it’s just like a normal usb drive (see photo below) Then I tried it with another mac: So I tried restoring again and it’s stuck for hours: (not my photo) Anyone knows what’s the problem here? The hard drive is still in good state though retracts: 0 reallocs: 0 pending sectors: 0 power on hours: 32 start/stops: 2565
