Custom App Icons made in Shortcuts should also get app notifications
Just got into customizing my iPhone Home Screen. Though Apple has some limited customization features they are sorely lacking. Light and dark modes. Color Tints. Placing icons where you want. These are features that should have been made available years ago. Anyway, going through the painful process of creating a custom app icon and adding it to my Home Screen using shortcuts has had some wonderful results in truly allowing my Home Screen to have a custom look(not just light and dark🤣). But the problem is these icons do not receive the same notifications as the apps themselves. This would be a ridiculously easy fix and could be implemented to offer us customers a true custom icon experience while also allowing us to see notifications for the apps I made a shortcut to. Why is this still not an option? What is the reasoning behind not doing this?
