Hmmm. This forum section is for iMacs made before 2006. Is yours that old?

If your iMac is that old, it does not support the macOS required for an iPhone 14 Plus. From the MacTracker database (free in the App Stores):

No pre-2006 iMac can run any higher macOS than 10.5. The oldest iMac that supported the 14 Plus required minimum OS was the Mid 2007 model.

If this is not a pre-2006 iMac, please help us help you by providing its sub-model (the part with a year) and its current macOS version. Both are quickly available by doing "About this Mac..." from your Apple menu.

For security reasons, please DO NOT post a serial number.

Thanks.

What do you mean by "iPhone account unlock"?

If the iPhone is showing an Activation Lock ("Locked to Owner") screen, you must provide the credentials the phone is asking for. Connecting the phone to a computer will not allow you to bypass the Activation Lock.
