Reset iCloud data managed Apple ID

Hello,

I've encountered the same situation as described here: Managed iPad asking for "Old Passcode", n… - Apple Community

I'm wondering if there's a way for me to reset the encrypted iCloud data from Apple Business Manager/Apple School Manager or has it to be done on every device?

Given the age of the students (10 - 12 years) this is going to give us a lot of problems next year.
