Instagram iPhone App Login Problem: Need Help!
As I can see, many of you are experiencing this issue with Instagram on iPhone: when I try logging into the Instagram app, it says 'Incorrect password.' If I use the 'Forgot Password' option to forcefully log in by having a code sent to my email—whether I manually type in the code or click the 'Log in without changing password' link in the email—I get the same message: 'Oops, something went wrong. Please try again.'
I have no issues logging into the web version; the problem is only with the app. I’ve tried everything—contacted Instagram support multiple times and even got verified to gain access to additional support. Despite them saying their engineers are looking into it, I still haven’t received a resolution.
The issue seems specific to my account and my iPhone. If I try logging into my account from another iPhone, it works without any problems. Similarly, if I log into a different account on the app on my phone, it works fine.
Could this be some kind of iPhone security issue/conflict? Has anyone been able to resolve this issue? If so, how?
