Apple M3 computer, Sequoia 15.1.1., QuickTime 10.5. QuickTime is not saving my audio or video but it does record them. How do I get it to save. It was doing just fine on my older Apple.

if they are not being saved, how can you be sure that they are recording?
that aside, is it possible that the "save to" location has been changed? you can use the keyboard shortcut "shift-command-5" to bring up the recording controls. then choose "options".
and then, in those options, check the "save to" location to see where the recordings are going.
To answer your question, I could listen to the recording before I saved it so I knew it was recording. I followed your suggestion and now it is saving. Thanks so much for your time and answer.
