Exporting and Importing Playlists in iTunes

I need help figuring out why something is not performing like I think it should. I have a 2012 MBP that I use to DJ with. I like to keep my iTunes library organized on this computer. I do like to download the same songs to my 2020 MBP as a back up computer. Here is my issue....when I export a playlist from the 2012 to the 2020, I send the playlist to my "iCloud Drive" where I then import the playlist from that drive onto my 2020. Not all of the data (specifically song dates) are uploading onto the 2020 even though they exist on the 2012. I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Any advice or insight would be most appreciated!
