Recently my Apple watch stop sending text message. I have cellular turned on and I'm connected to the network. But it fails to send iMessage and regular texts. I also am not receiving any texts or notifications when i do not have my phone near by. But I can make calls with it. I have tried restarting the watch and no change.

Can other apps use cellular data, for example Mail or Weather?
If not, setting the watch back to factory settings and setting it up as a new device would be the next step.
Is your Wi-Fi also disabled when using cellular data without the iPhone nearby?
If this worked in the past, did you already contact your provider, if they changed some settings?
At least SMS messages should work within their cellular network.
Did you also force restart your iPhone?
No, it was not.
Yes I have done that, the day I made this post I actually forgot my phone at home when I went to work and I was having this issue which prompted me to ask the question and search for answers.
Yes I turned off WiFi so I’m just on LTE and SMS messages fail to send as well. The bar will go across the screen and stop at like the 97% sent and hold then fail I have not contacted my provider yet
Yes weather works and I can make phone calls.
On your watch in Settings/Mobile Service/ Mobile Data, Mobile Service and Data Roaming is enabled, Status is "Connected"?
