Unable to rename playlists in Apple Music

I just upgraded my Mac Mini 2018 Sonoma installation (unsure exact version) with the latest security patch to 14.7.2, and since then i'm no longer able to rename playlists in Apple Music. It is very well described phenomena online and outlined by many people on reddit as well in this forum.

As every other loyal iTunes / Apple Music user is describing this is causing major frustration for someone who has invested 20 years in collecting music in your tool. Steve Job would turn around in his grave if he saw how Apple is ignoring Apple Music's original functionality around managing music libraries. The recent design changes (Abstract icongography for playlists instead of artist's album art) is causing major issues for existing users and now this bug which seems to be ignored since April. Or am i wrong, and perhaps you have fixed it?

Upgrading to Seqoya is not a sollution for me as it seems to run way too slow on MacMini 2018 from what i hear, and i also read that it does not really fix the issue... one more security fix for Sonoma that solves this would be required.

Mac mini, macOS 14.7
