Does Apple match prices with Amazon if a laptop is cheaper on Amazon? I can save $200 on Amazon.

Apple does not price match.
If purchasing from Amazon, or other retailers, be certain to compare the same spec unit.
Be very careful buying from Amazon. The majority of products sold on Amazon are not actually sold by Amazon. they come from 3rd party sellers.

And to add to this if it is from a 3rd party seller, then the Mac will be considered "Used" even if it is still in the factory sealed box because the seller is considered the original owner. That can be a problem for you because you won't have the necessary paperwork to prove ownership in case the device becomes locked and you need Apple to unlock it for you.
Buying directly from Apple allows you a 14-day return policy. If purchasing from an Apple reseller, you are at the mercy of their return policy (and potentially restocking fee). Read the small print on their return policy.
