Old home pod wont reset since wifi change
We’ve had a home pod for maybe 10 plus years. Just changed WiFi supplier & router. iPhones set up no problem but HomePod keeps saying “I’m having trouble
connecting to the internet see
home app”
tried to change in home app
but no option to do so so deleted HomePod & tried to
reinstall but we don’t have eh
box for the QR code & it doesn’t recognise it when putting phone near it. Tried the while
turn off & on but get no white spinning light, in face no lights come on. When I press & hold top of HomePod it just says the same “I’m having trouble connecting to the internet….” Phoned support who suggested I connect it to a PC but it is a fixed plug so no USB option like in the mini (which we have & works with new wifi no problem even though that was deleted from home app too?!?!)
she suggested I take to to Apple Store but that is a 3. Hour round trip for us.
any other suggestions?!?!
