2nd Magic Keyboard with same issue-keys not working!

I purchased an iPad Pro M4 November 2024 with Magic Keyboard-letter keys were not responding -The trackpad is responsive, brightness keys, volume, lock, all those work. I’ve done everything. I called support and no one could figure it out. They said they would replace it. I took it to the Genius Bar and they could not make it work. After messing with it, one agent got it to work with an on-display model and it worked for a few seconds then quit. They ordered a new one. Just exchanged it for a new one (oddly the tech swapped out the boxes but I could see it was new).He made sure it was the correct model. Got this one home and here we are again. None of the letter keys work. Siri’s instructions do not work. My iPad charges. I charged the keyboard before I connected them. I read one article that said to connect the iPad to the Magic Keyboard with a charging cord and I did that with the first one and it didn’t help. It should not be this difficult to make the two work! I’m so frustrated! Even though I use my iPad to draw and create, I am feeling like I should have stuck to my old iPad they decided not to update my iPad Pro 10.5 inch running iOS 17.7.3
