Beats Solo 3 Headphones Static Sound

I have been using my Beats Solo 3 wireless headphones for just over a year now, and they worked perfectly until just recently. When I was using them to listen to something while connected by Bluetooth to my Chromebook, they suddenly started playing a fuzzy static sound in the background and the video I was listening to got a whole lot louder. I now have to put the volume nearly all the way down both on my Chromebook and on the YouTube volume slider or else it is way too loud. When I use my headphones with my Samsung phone, there is no static sound and they work just fine. I reset the headphones, paired them with my Chromebook again, and turned off the Bluetooth on my phone to eliminate interference in the hopes that would solve the problem, but it didn't work. They work great with my phone but still keep making a fuzzy static sound when I listen on my Chromebook and I don't know how to fix this.
