Individual notes disappearing from Notes app, not found in recently deleted or iCloud

Over the last few months, my notes have been disappearing one at a time with no way to retrieve them. They aren't in the Recently Deleted section and I have no recollection of deleting them. I've tried resyncing my iCloud, deleting and redownloading the Notes app, checking to see if my MacBook still has them, and scouring the rest of the previously posted community suggestions, but to no avail. This is incredibly frustrating because I kept a ton of information on those notes, but they seem to be gone permanently. What can I do now?
