Recovering accidentally deleted photos and videos on iPad

I accidentally deleted a lot of photos and videos from my iPad today as I am a relatively new user, and I need to retrieve every single one of them!

When deleted, photos and videos are initially moved to the Recently Deleted folder - from which they can be recovered.

Deleting files within the Files and Photos App will initially only move the deleted items to the respective Recently Deleted folder - from where they can be recovered.

Until items are also deleted from the Recently Deleted folders, files/photos will continue to occupy storage. You must delete items from Recently Deleted to recover free space. Once deleted from the Recently Deleted folder, items are unrecoverable.

The Recently Deleted folder can be accessed from the respective App's sidebar. The sidebar is exposed/hidden using the blue Sidebar button at top-left of the associated App window.
