Turn off ipod bluetooth auto connect

My iPod tries to connect to neighbors TV via bluetooth and sends him verification codes. Same thing with another's Roku. How to i stop my iPod from automatically trying to connect to devices I don't want it to. I can't listen to music thru my own speakers because I have to turn off Bluetooth to stop this behavior. It just started recently.

How to disable automatic Bluetooth connectivity? I own multiple sets of Bluetooth earbuds, headphones, and speakers. Whilst I am paired with one set or speaker, often times my iPhone(15) will discover another set or speaker and the sound will be interrupted. It seems the only way to stop this is to forget the other devices I have stored. If I only disconnect from them, it happens over and over. Super frustrating! Especially when listening to an audiobook overnight, or music when I’m working and my phone is out of reach. Shouldn’t there be a simple way to disable Bluetooth from searching when it is already connected?

How to disable Bluetooth auto connect for only a specific device (car) My wife and I drive the same car and use the bluetooth connectivity while driving without issue. However, for example, when I pull into the driveway and my wife is talking to someone on the phone her call goes to the car. Same thing happens if the other is on the phone and I leave. The call gets picked up in the garage by the car. I would think there would be a way to disable bluetooth auto connect to the car (only) without impacting all the other bluetooth devices?

iPhone12 Disabling auto connect for Bluetooth speakers I have multiple stereos/speakers for different parts of my home that I like to Bluetooth to at my choice. I have multiple iPhones/users in my home. And the phones auto connect by who is closest to whichever speaker first automatically, and it’s irritating. Unpairing to avoid this every time is also inconvenient. We both have smart watches and thus disabling Bluetooth is not a practical option. Is there a way to prevent “auto-connect” for specific Bluetooth devices (without un-pairing) on an iPhone? Please Apple, make this an option if not. I’ve researched and it seems to be a common conflict in this connected world.
