Recent purchases not downloading on iPod

Ipod 1.0.4 Model MD475LL - will not download recent purchases - (past couple of weeks) but did a few syncs ago - Every time I sync it, it will not upload recently purchased items; it was on the iPod before - and now none of the recent music I just bought will download. It does say that I need to turn on iCloud music, but there is no option to. I also moved some music to a playlist from another computer - and it said it was taking it out of the iCloud music and since then, I can't download them onto the pod - never had this issue before.
