iPod touch 5 isn’t turning on

Ive already tried force restart and cleaning the charger port. I’ve also tried different cables, and even hooked it up to a laptop, but got no response that. Device even connected. I need help with this. Any suggestions? This device is also brand new out of the box. Ive used it for a couple months without any issues.
