Quicktime Player Crashes After Recording & Trying To Trim

This has been an ongoing problem since I got a new computer and starting using MAC OS 14 and now the most recent version of Sequoia. After screen recording from my phone I hit Command T to trim the front of the clip and it says loading for a a second and then it crashes. This happens about 90% of the time.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?? I submitted to Apple numerous times and as of the last update it's still doing it. 🙄
