Trouble making iPhone calls from mac mini M1. It worked before I upgraded to either macos 15 or 15.1. Can’t use phone mini-player keypad

I've been using my Mac to make phone calls on my iPhone for years. However, now I cannot make calls to switchboards/callcentres where I need to press a key to get a response, because none of the icons in the mini phone controller work.


I am very disabled so my Mac has a head mouse and I use dwell to press the mouse keys.


2020 M1 mac mini, macos 15.1.1, iPhone 15 max pro, ios 18.1.1.
