Unable to create groups in Photos app on Mac
On Mac photos i cannot create groups. No issue on Ipad and Iphone. Running latest version of iOS - Ventura 13.7.1

You're right, Richard. The page in the user guide about Groups of people exists only in the macOS 15 Sequoia version of the user guide: Find group photos and videos on Mac – Apple Support (UK)
@ WoodfieldBear, on your Mac you may want to search for for a group of people with a smart album:
File > New Smart Album
Set the rule to "Person&Pet is person 1"
Add a second rule with "Person&Pet is person 2"
and combine both rules with "Match all".
