Finding an old slideshow

I had a number of slideshows in the old iphoto app that are now all gone. Not on the icloud. Any thoughts on where these might be?

Please read the following user tip and restate your question/problem in detail:

What Mac model and year do you have?

What system are you currently running?

Do you still have the iPhoto library?

If it were truly an iPhoto library then projects in them were converted to albums when migrated to the Photos app. In other words they are gone.

If you can get an older Mac that will run iPhoto you can open the library and export the slideshows as movie files. Then you can import them into your current Photos library.

Hi, sorry I am a newb in asking questions:

MacBook Air 2018 running Monterey 12.7.6

I see *some* of the photos that were in the slideshow in my icloud. but not all

My daughter is able to see the slideshow in her similar MacBook Air icloud but she is not able to play it

I suspect as you say it is gone but since she can see it and not play it is there anything to do? Log in to her iCloud on an older computer if I can find one?

OT asked "Do you still have the iPhoto library?" iPhoto is an app that was discontinued about 10 years ago. The Monterey OS came with the app Photos which was iPhoto's replacement. Monterey could generate a Photos Library from an iPhoto Library (I think,) but not actually run iPhoto.

So, can you tell us more about what app is running and what Library it is using? Do you have the iPhoto Library on your computer, maybe in the Pictures Folder?
