Web of Parental Control BS

Here's the deal:

I gave my son my old iPhone; he now has the phone number I used for my personal Apple account that was used for Parental Controls....I have my daughter under it as well.

I have a work phone I use as my primary phone now, but that has it's own Apple account associated with it.

I logged my sons personal Apple account onto said phone. But now when he goes to request an app, it doesn't send me a text message to be approved via parental controls, because the "approval" phone number is the same as his phone number.

I'm not sure how to fix this. I can't associate my work number to the parental controls, because apple in it's infinite wisdom, won't allow you to associate more than one number to an account.

I don't care how I have to do this, I just need to figure out the easiest way to do it.

Would it be easier for my wife to just to Parental Controls on her personal phone?

Let me know if I'm not clear or you have any other questions.

Thanks.
