Videos not playing iOS 18

I’m on an iPhone 11 and got iOS 18 a few months ago. I’m not too particularly mad about the new photos redesign but for this entire week my videos have not been autoplaying on the app and the mute/unmute bottom hasn’t been appearing at all. I’ve tried closing the app, restarting my phone, and even going to different albums and stuff but nothing wants to work. And also, occasionally, it won’t let me go into the sideways mode for a while. I’ve tried everything I can think of and settings seem to have nothing that can help with the problem.
