MacBook not saving Music database file

I use Music on my 2023 MacBook only to manage my local library of about 21000 songs. There have been two instances in the last year of Music app appearing empty when opening. When opening library from music library file, it is an older version of my library. All the newer music is still on my computer, it just doesn’t appear in my library and the smart playlists are not updated. After investigation, I figured out that the library file is not updating as it should. In the last situation it the latest library file was from 9 days earlier. Sometimes, I would receive the error 13010 that the library could not be saved but usually not.

is there someway to ensure that the library file saves after each change? Or am I better off starting from scratch, deleting everything and using a program like imazing to create a new library from scratch (luckily I have my library also stored on my iPhone and ipad). I don’t want to go through the expense and time doing this only to realize the same thing is happening with my library.
