superdrive ejected cd mid burning

I’m burning a cd for the first time using my superdrive, burning a 72 minute, 22 track playlist onto an 80 minute CD-R (Phillips 700mb, 80min, 52x speed CD-R). Watching the progress as it burned, it got up to track 20 and then ejected the CD. On my laptop screen it continued to say it was burning track 20 and then changed to say finalising (the cd having been ejected already at this point). When I play the CD, it plays perfectly up until track 20 where it stops maybe a minute into the song, and then the rest of the track, as well as 21 and 22 have no audio (the cd player skips through them as though there’s nothing there, but shows the track number on the display). I burned at 1x speed and it seemed to be going completely fine until that point - anyone have any ideas what’s wrong/how to fix??
