My smart mailbox won’t observe my parameters
I decided to set up a smart mailbox to send all mail that is 31 days old straight to it from my icloud. I set up the parameters and click the okay then see my smart mailbox only to find it put today’s mail in it! I have so much junk mail even with icloud (not as much as my gmail box) that I just give up reading my mail so this is a way to keep the clutter out of the regular mailbox. I don’t understand what I didn’t do to set my parameters.
I do unsubscribe from time to time and it helps also that I make liberal use of the Hide My Email feature. Am considering shutting down my gmail account as it is now just a junk mail folder.
I tried quitting and reopening but it didn't work. And I deleted and made new ones several times. If big tech doesn’t want us to efficiently get rid of junk mail then just say so that way I can find another way to stop the junk. In snail mail, I find that it’s easiest to NOT bring it in the house, just put it in the trash right away. maybe I could do that with a smart mailbox but it keeps kicking me to 0 days. ?????
