Iphone 16 mail problem

If I receive an email with an attachment, the attachment cannot be downloaded and read. It keeps popping up click the attachment to download,and le nothing it does. It just flashes and it doesn't download the attachment anywhere, let alone display the attachment.

I have the latest SW, I tried to uninstall and reinstall the client.

Any help? Thank you.
