Other Storage huge

Recently found my other storage that was huge. In Finder, menu bar>Go

type: ~/Library/messages

Click on Archive.

Then menu bar> File> Get info

this uncovered 50+GB of message archives.

In order not to change my other devices and iCloud, I did turn off and sign out of iCloud messages. It can be turned on later or after you update. Hope this helps someone.
