Using older .fcpevent files in new libraries

Trying to fix a damaged library with no backup. What can I do to modify a CurrentVersion.fcpevent file from July of this year to work in a new Library? As of now, I'm just dragging the entire event folder from the old library and into the new one by way of the Open Package Contents space. If this is a no go am I able to use the TextTool to modify the file to open the event into a new library? I'm doing this on a macBook pro running FCPX 11.0 and OS 15.1.1 (24B91).

iPhone 12, iOS 18

Damaged library how? Does it fail to open? Did you make any changes to it in Finder?

I don't think you can do it the way you suggested.

The only thing that I know that has sometimes worked is to remove the flexolibrary file.

Again, this has sometimes worked, but there are no guarantees.

I'd work in a duplicate, drag the flexolibrary file out, and try to open.

With any luck, FCP might be able to rebuild a proper flexolibrary.
