FRUSTRATED AND STILL UNABLE to activate Apple CarPlay through a lightning/usb-c cable to my iPhone 13

About Nov/Dec 2023, I updated my iPhone 13 iOS. After which I could no longer use the lightning/usb-c cable to connect to Apple CarPlay. Menu Pop-Up shows "Make sure your cable is connected correctly". I tested 4 or 5 cables on other devices to assure performance. My VOLVO has a designated usb-c receptacle for this connection.


I have now updated my iPhone 13 to iOS 18.1.1 . I will try making a connection via BlueTooth or WiFi or Personal HotSpot. HELP, PLEASE.
