Can I access on IPad Pro data from a Mac backed up on Time Machine

I recently sold my MacBook Air M2 and am now using an IPad Pro M4 with pro keyboard as my main device .

Before selling I created a backup of my Mac on my Time Machine which is the tower style Airport Capsule with 1 tb HDD within it.

Whilst I saved my photos and media to ICloud I need to access some of the documents and letters etc which were on my Mac.

pages seems not to help accessing older letters created.

How can I do this?

My wife has a MacBook Air M1 which is using the Time Machine to do its backups so if I need to use a Mac as part of getting at the files I can, but obviously need to not disturb her backups or sign in on her device.

Thank you so much for taking the time to show interest in my problem, I really do appreciate it.

Unless I am off tune “Finder” is a Mac opportunity rather than something that exists in the IOS domain.

Perhaps I should have not migrated away from my Mac but in so many ways Mail etc it seemed all the development had gone into IOS devices.

Thanks once again

Ray
