Swipped off email app …. Email disappeared

I was writing a very long email that I had already spent 2.5 hours on I swipped up to switch from mail app to google, as I switched back my email had fully disappeared mot in drafts not in bin or trash or my other email account I have checked every folder how do I get this back it’s urgent please

i have the previous draft from an hour ago but not the new one and I can’t find it anywhere or know how to get the new version back
