Apple CarPlay suddenly stops working

Reading through these threads about Apple CarPlay that stopped working. Has anybody had this issue resolved? I have followed every step possible spoke with Apple for approximately two hours, took it to the dealer twice. It’s a Subaru Crosstrek 2024. The technician was able to connect to the android auto so I’m thinking of getting an android now.
