Apple Maps app not showing rest areas on interstate highways

Why doesn’t the Maps app show rest areas on interstate highways? This app shows incredible real-time information while on the move. There seems no logical reason that such a major feature of the highway system is omitted. Even Siri couldn’t tell me about the existence of the rest stop I was standing in today north of Atlanta on I-75. Is this deliberate?
