CarPlay 2017 Camaro

I have a 2017 Chevy Camaro and an iPhone 15 with the latest update. But my car will not allow my phone to connect via cord. It will charge and it will connect Bluetooth but it will not allow car play to work. And I just got the car and I have not been able to get it to work. Does anyone have a solution. I’ve tried restarting my iPhone, I’ve changed wires, I’ve reset my setting in both car and phone.
